about the role

The role will be primarily supporting land managers through agricultural transition over the next 3 years, including supporting/ leading on the working up of capital work projects on farms, with a focus on People, Place, Nature and Climate. Written recommendations will then be presented to an assessment panel for approval.

The Farming in Protected Landscapes programme is part of the Government’s Agricultural Transition Plan. It is a new, national, core funded (Defra) programme and needs to be delivered within tight deadlines over the next 3 years.

Cornwall AONB is looking for a committed and energetic, experienced individual with a sharp focus. Someone who will inspire landowners and farmers and strengthen the enhancement and conservation of the AONB landscape, heritage and biodiversity.

Could you be the shining light we are looking for?
