Boscastle's harbour and coastline are managed by the National Trust. Inland from here the Trust also manages large parts of the Valency Valley, much of which is recovering from the severe floods of August 2004.
Nearby Tintagel is famous for its association with the legend of King Arthur which is centred on Tintagel Island.
