The Cornwall AONB Unit is seeking a new Communications Volunteer

If you are interested in helping us shout about Cornwall's precious and beautiful protected landscape and have some skills in press, web and social media and some spare time to give, we'd love to hear from you!

Ideally we'd like a commitment for a minimum of one year and a minimum of two days per week, working from the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Unit office in  central Truro.  (travel expenses will be paid).

You will be working with the whole AONB team on all aspects of raising awareness of Cornwall’s protected landscape and its importance and helping us shout about the various initiatives being undertaken by the AONB Unit and our Partners. There may also be the opportunity to work on specific communications events and activities.

Your day to day will include PR and press liaison, social media activity, website and blog updates, preparing presentations and publicity material, report writing and management of our image library.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience with communications in the public/charitable sector, helping to protect Cornwall's fantastic landscapes.
