Cornwall AONB launches its Business Survey on Natural Capital. We want YOU to get involved.
In August we announced that the Cornwall AONB unit were working, along with partners, on a project to assess the natural capital within the AONB areas.
Although the interim report is almost complete, one of the objectives of the project was to look into how ecosystem services and the benefits associated with natural capital affect the businesses in and around the AONB areas. We also mentioned a business survey that would assess how much businesses consider their own impacts on natural capital and how risks and opportunities on businesses would be affected should natural capital decline over the next few years.
Understanding these risks and opportunities in relation to environmental impact will help us to manage it effectively, which in turn will help us keep the AONB and Cornwall as a whole as sustainable as possible.
This is where we need your help. The business survey is now live and we would love to hear your views! Follow the link below to help inform our ongoing investment plan for the AONB. All answers are confidential and the survey should take no more than 10 minutes.
