Welcome to the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Atlas
The Cornwall AONB Atlas is an interactive resource providing information on the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is designed to be used by anyone with an interest in the AONB - particularly those who want to find out facts and figures about the different parts of the AONB and valued features found across the protected landscape.
The Atlas also presents the results of monitoring work that is being undertaken by the AONB to build a picture of the current condition of the landscape. This is based on a set of 'indicators' chosen to reflect local landscape character. These indicators will continue to be measured over time to build up a picture of landscape change - with the results being updated in this Atlas. The Atlas will help guide the AONB Unit and its partner organisations in responding to these changes.
